Janine Doggett Copywriter by Tilly May.jpg

Hello, I’m Janine

I’m a freelance copywriter, working with agencies and brands in Bristol and beyond.

With over a decade spent working in marketing, brand and copywriting teams, my portfolio is packed with experience.

I write for the world of CYCLING and TRIATHLON

Swimming, cycling and running are three of my favourite subjects. I’ve penned copy for 220 Triathlon Magazine, Bike Radar, road.cc, Continental Tyres, f’zi:k apparel, British Triathlon, Alé cycling, Global Cycling Network, Vision wheels, SHIFT Active Media, No Gods No Masters, YT Industries, Hargroves Cycles, Cycling Plus and Pav Bryan’s Direct Power Cycle Coaching.

and a whole lot more, from restaurants to renewables

I’ve named a cocktail for Las Iguanas and discovered just how wonderfully creative it can be to write for financial services. On the brand side, my clients include Green Star Energy, Hudson Energy, Bristol University, Las Iguanas and Bella Italia. Creative agencies I work with include Goram & Vincent, Studio Cotton and the lovely people at Six – where I regularly work across their projects for Lloyds Banking Group.

More than a wordsmith

Before pursing my passion to become a full-time freelance copywriter, I worked in marketing management and communications roles for Pukka tea, OVO Energy, STA Travel – and as a creative marketing writer for SHIFT Active Media. As a result, I understand marketing; my experience in everything from creative concept to campaign content underpins my work as a writer.
